OrgChart Integrations

Overview

OrgChart can import data directly from a large number of HR, directory, and Applicant Tracking systems. 

OrgChart supports three different types of data integrations:

Main Data Source - Import data directly from your HR or directory system. If OrgChart does not directly integrate with your HR system, you can use Excel or CSV to upload your employee data.

Append Data Source - Aggregate data from multiple data sources, so that you can see records that are tracked outside of your core HR system (i.e contractors or open positions from an Applicant Tracking System).

Merge Data Source - Update existing records with additional information (i.e. dotted line reporting relationships) that may not exist in your core HR system.

Photo Data Source - Import photos from data sources that require additional configuration. Not all data sources require additional configuration to pull photos. Reference the Importing Photos article for more information.

The following article provides a list of main, append, and merge data sources that are compatible with OrgChart.

If your HR or Applicant Tracking system is not listed below, please contact OrgChart Support to request an integration. In the interim, we suggest that you export your HR data to CSV or Excel, in order to display it in OrgChart.

Note

The photo data sources are no the only sources from which users can pull photos directly into OrgChart. Some main data sources pull photos into OrgChart manually. Additionally, photos can be uploaded manually or transferred via SFTP. For more information on pulling photos into OrgChart, please reference the Importing Photos article.
