Overview
OrgChart features several different modes and modules that allow you to interact with your chart data:
The following article provides a brief overview of OrgChart's main user interface, Chart mode.
Chart Mode
Chart mode is the typical launch point for all OrgChart users. In Chart mode, users will be able to navigate and interact with base charts and custom charts.

Note
Options that are available in the screenshot above are dependent on a user's role and access group.
Edit Mode
Edit mode allows user with Admin and Read/Write roles the ability to filter and modify chart data and formatting. Edit mode is used to create custom org charts with specific branch styles and formatting that cannot be automated, or to create light-weight hypothetical plans.

Directory
In Directory, users can view, search, filter, and sort employee data in a tabular format.

Planning
The Planning module is designed to facilitate workforce planning exercises. Multiple planners can collaborate in real-time to restructure any branch of an organization.
