Overview
The Planning module is designed to facilitate workforce planning exercises. Multiple planners can collaborate in real-time to restructure and model future states of the organization.
A planner can participate in one of the following three roles:
- Viewer - Read and export plans.
- Collaborator - Update plans, including managing plan metrics, syncing plans with source data. and sharing plans.
- Plan owner - Update plans that have been made by or shared with that user, including managing plan metric, syncing plans with source data, and sharing plans. Plan owners can delete plans.
Note
Not all users have access to Planning. Your OrgChart administrator can grant you access by upgrading your role to read/write and enabling Planning in your UI profile.
Important
Administrators can share, modify, delete, lock, and archive any plan within the account (even those that have not directly been shared with that user).

Accessing Planning
1. Click on the Planning button on the left-hand side of the screen.
2. The Chart explorer is opened to the Planning tab. Double-click on an existing plan to open it, or click on the Create Plan button to create a new plan.
