Overview
Plans can be shared with team members, so that they can view or collaborate on the shared plan.

Plan Roles
When sharing a plan, a user must set the role for each planner. The following roles are available:
- Viewer - View plans
- Collaborator - View, update (i.e add, move, update, or delete boxes), and share plans. Collaborators can also adjust plan metrics and manage editable fields.
How to share a plan
Plan owners and collaborators can share plans that they have access to. Account administrators can share any plans, regardless of their plan role.

Sharing Plans
You can share plans from the Plans tab of the Chart explorer, or from within a plan.
To share a plan from the Chart explorer, hover over the plan you'd like to share, and then click on the sharing icon shown below.
To share a plan from within the plan itself, open the Dashboard side panel, and then click on the manage access hyperlink to the right of the users with access heading.
Once clicking on the share or manage access options, the share dialogue is displayed:
Plan sharing options
The following options are available in the plan sharing dialogue:
Search | Search for individual users or access groups with whom you'd like to share the plan. |
Default users as collaborators checkbox | Check to automatically set the role of each user or access group as 'collaborator' when sharing. |
Viewer/Collaborator dropdowns |
Click to change the plan role of the user or access group with whom you're sharing the plan. Optionally, remove a users or access group's access to the plan. |
Notify people checkbox | Check to send the users or users within a selected access group an email with the link to the plan. The email will automatically be sent to the email address associated with the users' OrgChart account after you click on Save. |
Copy link button | Click to copy a link to the plan to your clipboard. |
