Audience: Administrators
OrgChart allows Administrators to create custom formulas for display in chart box styles, profiles, or on chart backgrounds.
There are two categories of formulas that administrators can create:

Dynamic Formulas - Formulas that are calculated based on the present data. This type of formula can be used in custom charts to calculate rollups, and will update as boxes are moved, deleted, or added after refresh.
- Static Formulas- Formulas that are calculated based on a defined scope. This type of formula can be used on base charts, custom charts, and in plan metrics. Static formulas are compatible with both Employee and Position-driven charts.
Note
The number of static or dynamic formulas that you are able to create depends on your OrgChart Edition.
